I remembered first contacting Ken via Facebook. It was sometime after dinner when I sent him a personal message. To my surprise, he responded immediately to my message, and we spoke over the phone regarding my need and schedule. He quickly sent me some listing that night and scheduled the first viewing by the end of that week. His speedy response is simply impressive and admirable.
Ken had been patient throughout the whole process. This is particularly crucial for me as a first-time homebuyer. He answered all my questions in detail and sometimes multiple times without showing any sign of impatience. He is open and positive. Ken does not judge you simply because he knows much more than you do. He respects how different people have different ways of thinking, preference, and need. He accommodates those differences and customizes his service accordingly.
Ken is undoubtedly very knowledgeable about his profession. He is knowledgeable because he communicates well, having conversations in a very accessible way. Jargon does not get into his conversations.

Ken assisted us with a cross-state home purchase. Ken is super professional and efficient. We couldn't be happier!!
Pre-local visit:
Ken started assisting us with candidate home selection while we were still on the west coast. We told Ken the type and style of homes as well as the neighborhoods that we were interested in. He gave us the detailed pros and cons for each home (super good local knowledge) and was able to pull together a good not-too-long yet not-too-short list of homes for open house tours in a short time.
** We were super grateful that Ken was open to showing us homes during the pandemic situation.**
Local visit:
We only had 3 days to visit homes and determined if we wanted to put down an offer. Ken scheduled each home visit based on the location. That way we didn't have to drive back and forth between south vs. north and between east vs. north (professional!). Before each home visit, Ken called on behalf of us to make sure appointments were still confirmed (because of the pandemic). After each home visit, Ken called the home owners and builders to provide our feedback and to show appreciation. We think Ken did really well to make sure our visits were good and that the builders also received timely feedback from customers (we like it a lot).
Time to place an offer:
We decided to put an offer to the home we really like (good location, good school districts). Ken was not pushy at all for selling. He sat down with us and went through all the pros and cons again for the home to make sure the home would be the best choice for us. Then Ken evaluated the recent home market for us in order to know how much space we would have for price negotiation. He was able to guide us to the point where we were the main player for price negotiation and we were still able to reach the price point we aimed at (success!).
Post-sale:
Ken has the best post-sale service. Ken of course made sure that the home closing process would go smoothly. Ken also introduced his local connections for our cross-state move and potential home appliances purchase (discounts!). These were all super super helpful, especially when we were still not super familiar with the local businesses. And even after we received the key, Ken continued to help us solve all the puzzles regarding how to maintain a home (like AC, humidifier and such).
Ken is really a down-to-earth and professional realtor. We highly recommend Ken!! :)

It was such a pleasure to work with Ken.
We were first time home buyers and liked to do a lot of research ourselves. We initially started out with another realtor but we were soon "bumped" out of their workflow and and our questions went unanswered. We learned from this experience that we wanted someone both knowledgeable and accessible.
We found Ken, who immediately made himself available as soon as we initiated contact. It impressed me how responsive at ALL hours of the day.
As the process moved on from home research to showings, negotiations, and closing he helped complement our research with real experiences from other clients we hadn't thought about it. We loved bouncing ideas off of him and he never seemed annoyed nor too busy to drop what he was doing and address our questions, even in the dead of night.
What I really appreciated was that if he didn't know an answer, he would ask, find out, and get back to us as soon as he could. This struck me as being very honest and putting his best foot forward to help his clients and reflects his work ethic. Even after closing, we are still communicating questions to get our new homeowner jitters out.
